Navigating the Interactive Map
Learn how to toggle map layers, find hunt units, zoom to specific hunt units, and read boundary data.
The map is home base in TruHunt — everything else opens as a panel over it.

Move around: drag to pan, pinch to zoom, and rotate with two fingers. Tap the crosshair button (bottom right) to snap back to your location.

Change the basemap: tap the map style button (bottom right, labeled with your current style, e.g. SAT-0) for quick access to 2D/3D mode and your saved presets, or open the Layers tab to choose between SAT-0, SAT-1, Terrain, Relief, and Topo.

Search: tap the magnifying glass (top right) and type a hunting area, address, or coordinates — for example "Oconee WMA," "Athens, GA," or "34.5, -83.2." Selecting a result flies the map straight there.

Zoom to a hunt unit: open the Hunts tab, find your unit, and tap Show On Map. You can also tap any hunting unit boundary on the map to open its detail sheet.

Toggle layers: tap the Layers tab to turn map layers on and off — hunting units, private land, trout streams, roads and trails, boundaries, and more.

Check conditions: tap the cloud icon (top right) for weather and wind at your map location.
Tip: Long press a preset in the Layers panel to rename it — set up one preset for scouting and another for hunt day.
